The Baltimore Bonsai Club; founded in 1972; is an active and "growing" group of bonsai enthusiasts in Central Maryland. Club activities include exhibitions, workshops, collection trips, and visiting artists. The club hosts bonsai professionals; with both national and international reputations; for lectures, demonstrations, and workshops.

The Baltimore Bonsai club will be holding a workshop with the world renown Bonsai artitst Steve Tolley at Barry's house on June 14th. The event will run from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Steve will be helping the attendies bring out the best in their trees or help style your unstyled trees. Check out his website for some awesome before and after trees he has done.
There are still 4 participant slots open; the cost will be determined based on the final number of participants. The cost for observers is $15.00. Please reply with your intention so we can adequately plan for the event.
The Baltimore Bonsai Club will be having it's regularly scheduled meeting on June 22nd located at Meehan's Miniatures at 4925 Woodstock Lane, Rohrersville, MD 21779 (Phone: 301-432-2965). The meeting will run from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM. We will be able to buy trees and supplies; and work on and assist people with their trees.
